Our Divorce Lawyer-Mediator Backgrounds

After years as divorce lawyers, Larry and Chris left the formal practice of law to work only as family mediators with divorcing couples and couples with parenting disputes. We have collectively helped more than two thousand Denver and Colorado couples through the difficult process of separating their lives through divorce. Larry founded our company in 1992 and is recognized as an innovator in divorce and family mediation practice, technology and marketing.  As a former counselor with a Master's degree in marriage and family therapy, Chris brings an extraordinary educational background and work experience to our mission as well.

Colorado divorce lawyers, both Larry and Chris are members of the Colorado Bar Association's Family Law Section and Alternative Dispute Resolution Forum, and of the Association for Conflict Resolution (family section, formerly the Academy of Family Mediators). We have "Professional Mediator" status as Colorado mediators. (This was formerly known as "Guidelines-Qualified" status, and certifies that our family and divorce mediation credentials satisfy the standards promulgated by the Colorado Council of Mediators and Mediator Organizations or CCMO, and the Colorado Bar Family Law Section. These mediator qualifications standards are known as the "Recommended Guidelines for Mediator Education and Training".)
